another update

Hey all!
So i'm doing pretty good on my program, although the frustration level is sometimes high. I went to a friends house this weekend for a girls night and both of my girlfriends there are so small and cute. It was really hard. I had been so excited about the progress I've made so far, but instantly forgot all about it. I'm doing better now, but i just hate how easy it is to compare myself to others. So I'm trying hard not to. Also i went running last night and have every intention of going again tonight, much needed.
Its cool see all the new people, and i really love reading what everybody has to share. Jules, you are a steady rock on this site, way to go!

Mandi,
Thanks for sharing. The comparison bug gets me every time!

I have to admit, I feel a little jealous that you folks can lose weight to make your 'problem' go away, and mine is chronic.

So, one suffering or another, we all have the awful bug of comparison. If it wasn't our bodies, it would be our minds, our cars...

I vote that one thing we can compare ourselves to and against is gratitude. Grateful to be in the fight at all :-)

Chickadeeva,
Are you the one who suffers from fybromyalsia? My mom and I have that too. She is seeing a new specialist in May. A long list of things tried in the search for a cure.....We will see....

Mandi,

You are going to be so pleased with yourself at your weigh in next week! I know it. Then you will have some bragging rights with these tiny women!

Vow to be Chubby No More!
