Me and my wonderful man, Blake on June 12, 1993...the day that changed my world forever!Hello, beautiful people! I am feeling beautiful today! I tried on my wedding gown. And....and...it fits! I stood in the bathroom, looking in the mirror, and cried. Just plain cried and cried and cried! I wore this dress 13 years ago today and I have not worn it since! Many times, I have looked at my wedding photos and thought, "If I could just get back to that size...that would be so sweet." Well...here I am! Thirteen years and 5 babies and 50 lbs. later! This is the biggest thing to happen to me in these weight loss months. Thanks for all your support.
I am thinking about surprising Blake and wearing it to dinner tonight....If I can only figure out how to press it.

Oh wow. Honey, that is the sweetest story I've heard in a while. You were so beautiful on your wedding day - I remember it so well, and I was so proud of how gorgeous you were as you walked down the aisle.
Looking at you now, I see the woman you intended to be back then. You wanted a good man, lots of babies and a big house for all your 'stuffstuffstuff'. The blessings evident from your life just remind me all the more of the abundant blessings of those who are faithful.

Wow Jules, That takes the cake (rice cake that is!) That is so sweet. I actually rented my dress because I didn't want it hanging in my closet taunting me. You are a princess!

Jules I just love this post. Congratulations on 13 years of marriage and on 50 pounds of weightloss! You have so many beautiful children and look, you have gotten your body back to where it was before they were born. How cool is that! I got misty eyed at this post as your sense of accomplishment just shines through your words. BTW I love the sweet innocence in your wedding photo. You look so young and fresh but I must say that seeing you in that dress now.... well you just look plain hot girl! I think it would be great to surprise blake with it. You are one sexy gal and we are all so proud of you and all of your accomplishments. Marriage, kids weightloss... all of it. Congrats girl.

OH JULIE! I just loved this post...and you look absolutely stunning in both of your wedding photos! That was such a treat to get to enjoy you then and now. And how fun to have worn your dress again!
