Tired

OK, well I am just tired. Tired of trying. Tired of failing. Just plain tired. Not real hopeful right now. Not thinking about the permanent changes. Just tired:(

SueAnne!! Tomorrow is another day, girl! You are so worth this fight. Your body really wants to help you, your body really wants to be on your side, but you have got to stick with it. We love you. Don't give up! Reevaluate, take inventory, take a bubble bath, hug your knees to your chest and cry into your pillow, but don't give up, girl!

I believe in you.

Maybe you are not failing...maybe you need to rethink your plan. If you are cutting your calories but still eating sugar and simple carbs (white flour, white rice, potatoes), then you are robbing yourself of energy and strength. Call me if you want to talk.

email me and I will send you my #.

SueAnne,
I hear you. Have been there, said the same words.
Usually they lead to me quitting. But you know what? This process, the weight loss journey, has many ups and downs. Good days and bad. Days where we love the changes and days when we get tired of making the positive choices.
I'm glad you posted. Because the best thing for you is support. We have ALL been there.
Jules is right, tomorrow (today??) is another day. ANd the day after that, and after that. You CAN do this. There's a reason you started on this journey- whether for health, or to feel better about yourself, or to treat your body better- go back to that reason. Stand in it and remember what that was. That always helps me refocus back onto making the positive choices. Do something for yourself- NOT related to weight loss, to take care of yourself- get a mani/pedi, your hair done, a massage, walk around the mall and window shop (if you have the money shop), take a bath, read a delicious book, something to take your mind off of weight but to put it back on taking care of yourself.
We're here for you. You CAN do this.

Oh SueAnne, I'm sorry to hear your discouragment. I must agree with Jules and Paige, every day is a new day. And you must realise that you are worth taking care of. You should do something extra for yourself. I like Paige's idea about getting a manicure and pedicure, just for a little extra pampering. You are so worth taking care of. Don't give up the fight, we are here to back you , ALL of the way!

Oh SueAnne! I know how you feel, have been there and felt that, you are not alone! Have a moment...then pick yourself up and get back at it. Life is filled with challenges and we are equipped to overcome them. (Sometimes we just have to look a little harder to find that equipment, but it's there!) We are here to encourage you, and help lift you back up when you are feeling low. I would suggest that you begin with a little positive self talk. When you start hearing yourself say things like "I can't do this" etc, you need to turn that statement around and make it into a positive. i.e. "I can do this for right now, this meal" something like that. I look forward to hearing a positive report SueAnne!!

Sometimes when I'm tired, "Rah Rah Rah" can sound like, "blah blah blah" but I hope that your heart is soft and soaks up this collective encouragement. It is so hard when the walk is weary.

I am proud that you can even confess your tiredness, you can - as Julie said, "have a soft place to fall" here.

So, if you need to...wallow for a moment in your empty fatigue.

Then, tell yourself enough and borrow the strength of others here until you get that motivation a-new.

Love to you - don't give up!
