Inches!

I measured this morning... I've lost three inches in the past week!!!

I'm loving the Firm videos still.

I have found, of course, that while I do wonderful eating for the most part during the week, I tend to fall apart during the weekends. What are your weekend strategies?

I try to stay under the covers. If that doesn't work, I found brushing my teeth really well makes me hesitate before I put food in it, cuz, ya know, I just brushed my teeth! It also gives me a good excuse for declining food.

I try to eat smaller breakfast and lunch in anticipation of whatever social event might take place in the evening. Also, if you excercise and drink lots of water on the weekends it helps.
good job on the inches!

I agree with the glitzyguru. If I excercise, that always motivates me to eat better . Smaller meals earlier in the day are also a good idea, in case you do go out.

On the weekend, we go "unstructured", compared with our weekly routine. Try thinking your whole weekend through before it starts...what will I have for bfast, what healthy choice for lunch, if I am out with a friend, where is a good destination that will have terrific choices for me? Or, what fun event will I be attending (even if it is going to the movies and wanting popcorn) that I can save some calories for.
Having said that last part, I do want to warn you about skipping meals. That is NEVER a good idea. You will way over eat if you do that. Just eat lighter, but eat regularly.

All right Paige! Those firm videos are great! Glad you are seeing success with them. As for me, the weekends are my weak time as well.. but mostly I try to avoid those food situations that get me in trouble. This weekend I made a plan, we were having guests over and they were going to be bringing some chocolates with them, I decided that everytime I wanted a chocolate I would drink some of my favorite tea that has a very sweet flavor to it (Good Earth). It worked great! I ended up having two cups of tea LOL! I was very proud of myself. But those social food situations are a big pitfall for me. I got lots to work on, but I am taking them one at a time.
