A Tale of Two Cords

I thought it was fun to compare my new size 10 black cords, to my old size 22w. It'd probably look like a bigger deal if I put one of the pairs on, but I wasn't in the mood.

On to something else. Over the weekend, I had something really cool happen to me. While we were shopping at the Fall Frolic, and a couple of the girls were still getting fitted for their bras at Nordie's, I decided to look at some blouses while they were finishing up. I was looking at some size 14's, because I'm in a 12 top still, (those wonderful shoulders of mine). Anyhow, I had a sales associate come up to me and say: " These sizes are to large for you, you'll find the smaller sizes down stairs." To which I replied; 'I'm looking at a 14w'. To which SHE replied;"Yes, I know, the "w "stands for woman. It will be too big for you" Can you even imagine how that made me feel? A total stranger, trying to help me, recognized that I WAS NOT a plus size any more! She soooo made my day!
