Shaking it Off

Good news. I screwed up my courage this morning and stepped on the scales. Even though I don't feel like I've done much and feel like I've been eating absolutely horribly, the scales still love me. I'm down half a pound from before I went astray.

It's not much, but I seriously expected to have gained six pounds. Holding my ground? Definitely a good thing.

That's right Lisa! Shake it off!

Know you are down there in the Lone Star state with less than ten pounds to go is always so uplifting for me. Don't let one (or two, or a few) battles be the end of the war! You have only taken a side road. We all do. I have been on one too. The good thing about side roads is that, unless you turn it into an extended vacation, any extra weight is usually water weight and will melt right off again.

How is your water intake? Are you chugging enough?

You are the type that has a favorite food and, after a while just needs a new favorite. You like change (I do too). Maybe it is just time for a change, a new favorite. A fresh outlook on your workout routine (yes, that can change too).

I believe in you Lisa!

Lisa, you can do this! You only have a little more on your journey before you reach your goal. Don't lose sight of your prize! I am glad the scale is being kind to you. Nothing feels better when you feel like you are messing up. You will get back on track and finish off those final pounds in no time. Your dancing menu sounds yummy!

WhoHoo...dodged a bullet, babe! Congrats on the weight loss.

Wish we could have met in person at the Fall Frolic. Can you fly up in January? You can stay at my house! We are going to have the New Years Revolution January 20th. I know it is a big question to ask...I can dream, right?
