May Day

Hello everyone!

I am so encouraged that you are still around. We just returned from the happiest place on earth. It was a wonderful vacation. Really. Our family was so united and just happy to be together. But I have been away from the computer. Had a great time eating. Not too much, not deprivation, just right. Still can't make the scale move. Filling out my size 14. But still around......

Love to you all
SueAnne

SueAnne,

I don't know what meds you are on for fibro, but I have a few, and one of them does make me gain weight.

Is it worth talking to your dr about a shift in meds? Sometimes the same family of meds can produce opposite side effects.

Glad you are still around. It is always nice when we can spend much needed family time together. Good for you.

I'm so glad you're back, SueAnne - I've missed my plateau partner! (And it's taking all I have to get back to the plateau after I fell clean off the other side).

Thank you ladies. It is good to be back. You guys really help me remember to not give up:) Lisa, got any ideas for getting off the plateau?

SueAnne, I've missed you. But I do understand...
I'm glad that you were able to go on such a wonderful family vacation.
I hope to see you again at the Spring Hurrah on the 26th!

SueAnne, like I said I'm just trying to get back TO the plateau through a combination of pretty weather (better for running about outside rather than napping indoors) and pure panic (oh no, I'm getting fat again. AAIIIEE!).

I am really making a concerted effort, however, to drive my car less. This means a LOT more walking to get groceries, run to the drugstore, etc. Most things are within a mile of where I live (or the train that's a 1/2 mile away).

In short, I haven't found anything really inspiring in awhile but I'm following that sage advice: fake it 'till you make it.

Welcome back, Sueanne. You have been missed. Hope you can gain strength here, once again.
