I've earned my rapper name, '8 mile'

You know what that means, don't ya? Yes, oh yes. THIS woman, ran eight miles this morning on the treadmill. I slowed the pace just slightly again, down to 5.9 MPH. It took me 81 minutes and 30 seconds. And I am tired, even as I type this out. I am tired, but I am encouraged. I can tell you this, I will not be doing any cardio tomorrow. Or the following day. We'll be going camping for a couple of days. : )

As I look back on what you've written - I realized you've evolved and so have I.

Running 8 miles?

That used to sound impossible.
Then it sounded improbable.
Then, it sounded unlikely.
Then it sounded possible.
Then, after you kept on going it sounded likely.

Now it just sounds impossible to ME but its something you can say you DO!

You should have seen Blake last night, he was determined to break your record on our treadmill. He got to 7 miles and could go no further...he moaned and groaned the whole night. Silly man. Who can compete with our Kris-thinia???

how quickly we dismiss the amount of physical training that goes into that type of effort....(silly blake!)

Wow, Blake wasn't kidding when he told me the other day that he was really competetive.
My hat's off to you Blake for going a full seven miles! I'm curious to know how long it took you. : )
My husband said,' Hmmm... are you two going to do a race together in the future?'

It took me 69 minutes. My legs felt fine but I felt so overheated that I nearly passed out. My bod seems to have a tough time staying cool. 8 miles though. You are killing me, literally.
Keep up the good work.
