Fear of the Scaley Tale

How was your Christmas, y'all? Am I the only one who is afraid to get on the scale?

I was up five. But most of it's water retention. I guess I will have to fight back down a couple, but Aunt Flo's on her damn way again, so I won't know for a couple weeks where I am. I did pretty good over the holiday, gave away my cookies, trashed the four cakes, three pies, gave away the leftovers other than the plain squash and the white turkey breast. I did my workouts through most of the holiday and now am back at it big time.

Jan, you inspire me!

I gave away a bunch of candy, I started cutting my coca colas with perrier to keep myself from drinking so many (sure love sugar and caffine!) and I'm back to my crunches and leg lifts. I have a bet with a Marine that I can do 20 push ups by the time I see him, but that is kind of a lot! I can do seven.

I am a bit scared...I am going to step on the scale after a few more days of water pumping. Eeekkss.

I got on the scale, and I am basically in my 3 lb window! Ha! How the mind works to freak me out! I do need to get back to working out, as my shape is changing in a direction I am not so pleased with. At least I am keeping the numbers on the scale under control! Jules

I got on the scale and, ugh. Up give or take 5 pounds. Grr. Blech.

I finally got on the scale today. Yes, it took me this long. I'm within Julie's 3 pound window, so technically I maintained through the holidays. I'm so relieved. I was really afraid that I'd be 10 pounds heavier because I'm feeling so sluggish. Time to get back on track!
