I have found myself overeating the last two days. Eating bigger portions than normal, stuffing myself when I know I am full, dipping into COOKIES, having a pre-dinner, dinner before eating dinner. That's two dinners, if I lost you. I don't know what is going on here....yes, I am premenstrual, but I have been premenstrual before without such disregard for all I have learned. I actually woke up last night at 3 and felt sick to my stomach full. Icky.
Pray for me. I don't want to go back.

Awww, you have my prayers.
May the emptiness you're seeking to fill be found in Him.
Jules, I have a thought for you, I can definitely relate. I kill those cravings with a glass of metamucil. Two cups of cold water and 6 teaspoons of smooth orange flavored metamucil (nor the sugar free kind). It is good for you and will help with those cravings. Next - get that stuff out of the house. Eat a can of vegetables. Even baked beans is better than junk. It's sweet and has tons of 'fill you up' fiber.
Hang in there!! Do some extra walking or whatever you like for exercise, that also helps. Don't give in. This too shall pass.
Keep drinking your water. I hope that you get through this. PMS is my absolutely the most hungriest time of the month for me too. It is the time when I am the most dissatisfied with my eating plan, but keep working through it and get that junk out of the house. Wet it in the sink and then throw it OUT!
Good Luck!
Jules, you are in my prayers - this happens to everyone at some point, but you have made such a commitment to yourself through this whole process that I know this is a temporary blip. You are strong, and with His additional strength and guidance, I know that you will continue on the path which has brought you this far.
Oh honey, don't be too hard on yourself. I'll bet that part of it is stress eating. You ARE hosting the family reunion at your home this weekend. Premenstrual times are the HARDEST.
Hang in there. Love you!!
Kristina
Oh, I've been there. Heck, I'm there this weekend. Wanna come over for cheesecake and wine? That's what I had for dinner last night. :-P
I was about to ask you what's going on in your life right now. It sounds like you've got some stress happening. I see that Kristina mentioned a family reunion, and boy howdy! That will do it. Nothing stresses me out like a big "to do" going on at my house. I want everything to be perfect, and that usually means I eat like crazy because I'm swimming in stress hormones. Try to think of some ways to take care of yourself and take the stress level down a notch or two. That will help!
Thanks, girls. I am doing better. Nice to know you are all here for me.
Jules
