Pistachios
Does any one know how many calories are in pistachios in the shell? I know 1/4 cup of shelled pistachios is 170 calories but I don't know how to figure the calorie per pistachio is the shell so I can make a serving from a bulk purchase. Help?
I figured that Pistachios are 3.4 cal each. So 10 of them is 34 calories. I like to stick 20 of them in a baggie when I go to the movies. It makes for yummy "popcorn".
Thanks Jules, I've used them for popcorn when you told me about that and it really works. Then I had little idividual bags that were 170 calories but I bought some in bulk and had know idea how to figure out the idividual calorie. Thanks!

no problem....almonds are 8.6 cals each...FYI.
